Dahlia Colman and University of King's College group arrive as Island Stewards. Four students spend morning continuing the meadow restoration work. 

Seven Island Stewards met to discuss stewardship. Formal Island Steward selection process was started. Stewards filled out an application form and waiver.Stewardship discussion raised two concerns. Off-leash dogs present a danger to young animals and children. Stewards agreed to approach dog owners to remind them of being courteous to other island users, including animals. Signage could be increased to include user guidelines, history of island and cottage and also the Island Steward program. Exact wording needs to be discussed further. Gathering ended with pizza and beer!
